The Hubby loves bars of soap, but being the evil wife that i am, have banned it because of all the scrubbing that the shower recess requires. Sometimes i surprise him with a bar or two and his whole face lights up! It really is the little things that make a person happy… Imagine his face when he sees hand made goats milk soap with his initial on it!

iPhone Case

Im about to inherit an iphone and am in the market for a case/cover to protect it from the key, wallet, pens, coins, Bakugan and Ben 10 paraphanelia in my handbag. Love the pattern on this one and im forcing myself to try colour instead of my usual monochormatic pallette.

My mum loves nice stationery and bright colours and beautiful details, so this set of notecards is right up her ally. I love the detailed effect of letterpress and the gorgeous vibrant ink. The peacock feather pattern is pretty special too and that lined envelope just seals the deal!

My little guys are obsessed with spiders and webs and all things related so they’d be reallyinterested in these glasses. They are hand carved votive holders and would look really pretty with a little tea light in them.

A Silly Love Card

So the tortured hubby knows that behind the nagging and excessive eye rolling i really do love his inability to work out the coloured clothes basket from the whites, the mystery of where the cheese grater lives, and that he’s finally accepted that its his job to retrieve foreign objects that the kids keep throwing in the toilet.

Hubby and I love zombie movies, so if the crazy love card doesnt get the message across this certainly will, it reads : “I love you more than Zombies love brains”!

So that all comes to $196, not a bad haul! I think i’ll spend the extra $4 on some Fry’s Turkish Delight…

I’ve been trawling through etsy and other sites looking at things for inspiration or things for my closet and home, so heres whats on my gift wishlist:

* This cool cardigan from Kaylim: because i have plenty of ordinary cardigans and this one has the ‘IT factor’ for me.

* A sweet pendant from BrooklynRehab: i love that it so ornate and vintage and black, of course!

*Murchison Hume Cleaning products: these ‘green’ products are created with love and are a non-toxic way to cleanse your home. A friend of mine recieved a pack for her kitchen tea and i turned GREEN with envy on the spot!

* The Envirosax Graphic Series 5pf of totes in “Monochromatic”: My grocery bags are starting to look a bit tired and they dont fold down very well so storage is such a pain. These envirosax bags look cute and are quite big in size. They have a heap of colour themes to suit all tastes too.

* This cute cover-up from Victorias Secret, for our summer holiday: perfect for poolside or for throwing on over the swimmers and ducking off to the shops to fetch ice creams.

I searched high and low for bottles that weren’t too expnsive and not too babyish looking either. Nicholas will be in ‘big school’ next year so i want something with staying power. I found a suitable bottle made by Alex and Charli (off babys got style) and bought 2 of them:

The bad thing about ticking that little box that lets online stores inform you of their newest additions, is that when youre trying to watch your wallet BAM! They tell you about a totally cute jacket that you know you’d wear to death! Its lucky i love a bargain !!

Look whats on its way to my doorstep:

That stripey top is so versatile, i have a wool cardigan in bright red that will get a bit of a lift with that under it, no to mention the black cable knit dress with the short sleeves. The jacket is a complete bargain at $15!! No i didnt leave off the 0 at the end, its really $15! I am fully aware that if i sneeze while wearing it it may spontaneously combust at the seams and fall off me, but for $15 thats an experiment im willing to undergo- yes the brooch comes with it- insane! The white dress will come in handy in Oct when we head up to the Gold Coast for a summer holiday- its so hard to find a nice summery white dress when you’re looking for it, so i was happy to stumble upon this one.

I just realised that its all Black and White too! Maybe i should just cave in and only wear those two colours, i seem to gravitate towards them anyway.

3 pieces for just under $70- and that’s including shipping. BARGAIN!! Maybe it will slip under The Husbands radar…

Yellow and Grey Aztec print dress: I love a good print and this sunny yellow, teamed with a sober grey really grabbed me. I can wear it now, in the chilly months with my grey cardigan thrown over the top, tights and ankle boots and also wear it solo in summer time. Of course there is the risk, when youre shopping online that things wont fit, so i literally held my breath while i stepped into this dress and breathed a sigh of relief when it zipped up around me like a glove!

Military Inspired Cardi: I love a nice deep navy and anything military inspired is top of my list too. I really like the cream ribbon detailing on the front of this one. Im wearing it today on top of a cream dress and have a red and white striped singlet poking out underneath the navy hem of the cardigan, very classic colours.Black and White Silk Tunic Dress: The pattern just grabbed me immediatley and im a sucker for anything B&W so this one was a no brainer! It says its a tunic but its more of a dress on me. Wore this one with black leggings and patent black ankle boots. This one will also be getting a work out in summer, when i can wear it alone with my bejewelled gladiator sandals

I bought them all online at Freez Clothing and I love a Bargain. They are Australian online stores and were excellent with their delivery time (2days) and notified me when my items were shipped. They also have some very reasonably priced items. Very happy shopper here, and no they havent paid me to advertise!
