Sure, there are plenty of newsagent style florals and kittens and *gasp* kittens in florals! But a truly beautiful design makes that special hand written note even more precious. I cant imagine ever throwing out a note or letter penned on such beautiful paper as these Jonathan Adler beauties:

I love that the envelopes have a print on them also- very clever! Do you ever hand write a note or even a letter? Is letter writing a lost art in the age of emails, twitter and instant messages?

He has a uniquely retro design asthetic and a wonderful appreciation of colour, composure and texture. Heres a sample of what he’s did for the BAFTAs. Can you pick the movies nominated for Best Picture from the poster design?

Did you work them all out? Appearing in order: “Up in the Air”, “An Education”, “Hurt Locker”, “Avatar” and “Precious”. Ive seen all of the nominated films except “An Education”, so far my pick for best film is Precious. The story will tear your heart up in little pieces and then tape it back up miraculously. Hurt Locker is also fantastic, Katherine Bigelow is an amazing director! There was one point during this movie that The Husband and I were literally sitting on the edge of the couch with baited breath. Go and see both these films, before the Oscars, if you can. Two thumbs up! For Tavis Coburn too!!

Wonder if he’s designed little calling cards with his message printed on it, sometimes clients need a bit of education too!

It even incorporates my favourite quote by Einstein: “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. Amen to that!
