Apologies for the lack of posting! Ive been busy tying up some work so that i can leave for a little vacation tomorrow. The family and I are heading up north where its warmer, sunnier and beachier!! We’re all looking forward to unleashing the kids in some theme parks and daily trips to the beach, good times with friends and lots of laughs.
Catch you on the flip side!

Wall decals arent exactly a new fad. I do like decals but all the decals ive seen have been pretty ordinary or too naff and something i think i’d pull off the wall in six months time. Good design is hard to find, especially in this genre of decorating. I was pleasantly surprised when The Husband passed on a link to Hu2 stickers- fun and edgy designs with great detail.

One of the fun parts of birthdays parties is the little loot bag that the kids get to take home. Little toys and treats all waiting to be played with and devoured. I don’t really allow my kids to have lollies and do admit to rationing the sugar out over a week so i don’t have to deal with two kids having a sugar crash simultaneously. But i really enjoy shopping for fun stuff to put into the bags. I found some great bright red mini noodle boxes at Spotlight and went to town!

Every week i bake.
I meal plan and i bake. I mean i cook and plan our meals but i MUST bake. Cakes, muffins, biscuits, slices, healthy stuff, wickedly sinfull stuff, stuff just to use up fruits and things that are over ripe or close to expiry. I can certainly do without the added effort and calories but its so nice to have that gorgeous aroma of bread, pastry, cake, biscuits wafting through the house and collecting in little windowless pockets like the stair-well or the back bedroom.

Here it is, the newest poster in the Creative Neesh shop!
I decided that after monsters and robots i’d better make something for the girls out there. Something a bit different to the usual princesses and faries. Let me know what you think of these sweet little Russian dolls.

Each one has their own unique design on the bottom shell and each has a cute little expression and hair-do. Great for helping your little doll recognise the letters of the alphabet and something that will look great on their wall for years to come. Take a look in the etsy shop for details on sizing and delivery. Hope you like my newest addition

I stumbled upon this image on a packaging site. Im not sure if this is a real product or only in its conceptual stage but the idea is just magical! Your tea bag comes folded up and unfurls in your cup into an origami bird. How sweet! Thats incentive enough to switch to tea glasses to appreciate these beauties…

The lates Blog This challenge is about a moment in time that you’d like to go back to. With all this glorious Sydney Sunshine we’ve been having, i remembered our European Honeymoon when we got off the plane from a chilly May day in Sydney and landed in France with the sun beating down on us. We soon left the bustling city of Paris for a quieter stay in Nice.
It was a joy to stretch out on the pebbled beach and let the warmth soak into my bones. The sound of the water rolling over the pebbles, the salty air, a fresh tuna baguette by my side and hubby capturing the moment- perfect!

Hope to see you again someday Nice, your sunshine & tuna baguettes are unforgettable…
Ever been guilty of mixing up a batch of icing to eat straight from the bowl? Does the sight of a perfectly iced cupcake make you go weak at the knees? Have you sprayed the perfect whipped cream spiral out of the can and marvelled at its form?
Well i’ve found JUST the thing for you…

What would be the prefect gift for a kid who has a tonne of toys, books, games and bits and pieces? What would be ideal for a little guy who’s turning 5, obsessed with super heroes and masked crusaders? What would be great for a kid with an awesome and unusual name that you cant find key rings, mugs and door plates for? I made this for my little friends birthday and was honoured to hear that it was hung up straight away and is busy doing its job, protecting him from things that go bump in the night.
