Trust me, I'm a shocker for deliberately avoiding the latest crazes. (I've still not read or watched any Harry Potter, for solely that reason!) Twilight series is not well written at all - I found the first one was particularly poorly written. But... there's just something that keeps you turning the pages. (Maybe the hope that it'll get better? hehe...) I would put them in the same category as Buffy actually. Was never a fan. Definitely written for teens. But... yeah... addictive. I've got to admit the movie did not translate to screen as well as it could have and the tree... oh dear! I did enjoy the books though, mainly because I'm a Buffy/Angel freak and thought I could get some satisfaction from Twilight. I enjoyed the books, they were light and a bit of escapism - but the 3rd one really pissed me off. Maybe you could go audio book Nish? I read them this way, a little strange at first but ok.
