The sound of the kettle firing up of a morning or afternoon is my saving grace. After an abrupt wake-up involving body slams, face poking and blatant demands to “Open your EYES MUMMY!” i look forward to brewing a cup of tea to warm my insides and awaken the beast my consciousness. There have been mornings where ive had to forgo that cup of sanity and run out the door and my day just isn’t the same.

I’d love an old fashioned stove top kettle but the process of brewing, then decanting the tea for service is a bit laborious and thats one extra vessel i have to clean *groan*. So when i came across this fantastic product, my eyes lit up!

Its called the One Vessel and is literally one vessel that you can put on your stove top, brew your tea, snap on the heat proof trivet to the base and put it on your breakfast bar or table.

I really like the blue chinoiserie inspired graphics that only appear on the surface of the vessel once the brew is hot. Otherwise its plain white.

Its still in the final stages of production, so i cant race out and buy one for the official test drive. Bonus points for having a ’space invaders’ graphic option, the geek in me rejoices!
